HUMANS ARE NOT SOCIAL

Ages have passed, civilization has changed, many revolutions happened, but truth is unsaid, nobody want to hear it and it is that humans are not social. Sounds odd! What are you saying? Yes you have heard it right, so ugly, so bitter, but I am in my complete sanity believes that humans are not social.

•  We have always heard everywhere that human is a social species but it’s not true, maybe we are hiding some facts or don’t want to be in chaos, so denying the fact of nonsocial nature of human being. I think the term social has fault in itself. When we say society, what does that mean? What number it consist of, what is its boundary or there should be need of any boundary at all. If we see the normal definition it means “A human society is a group of people involved in persistent social interaction, or a large social grouping sharing the same geographical or social territory, typically subject to the same political authority and dominant cultural expectations” 
•   If we stick to this definition it means humans should have as many societies as many as culture, as many as geographical distinct divisions, as many as political areas, as many as language division. Let’s accept this as fact and consider one society which shares his cultural, language, political, geographical background. Happy now!!
•  Now in this society, are we still social or it’s just a need based interaction among individuals of society. When we say humans are social it must means that as a human being he or she must care for his society interest. But are we?
•   I think we are not social; we are just having “Circle of Interest.” Yes, circle of interest. What does that means? It means we are not social but just usually interact with others members of society to whom some mutual benefits attached. And if someone is not part of that circle of interest even if that human being belongs to same society I don’t care, I don’t know what he is, I don’t know what he do? I don’t know whether he is dying or living, I don’t care whether he actually exists or not. 
•  Now you must have assumed by this time that I am talking to current scenario or this modern world. No, you get me wrong; I am talking since the origin of species. You must have observed this in history, world wars, movies, documentaries, and biographies, all depicted one truth. Only humans who belong to circle of interest acted as unit, not a society, to fight against the evil or should I say the alien society or alien circle of interest. That selfishness, that needy nature of human behaviour costed a lot and it’s still continuing.
• Don’t get it still, let’s take example of India. Lets consider India is a society? Dude what are you saying? Diversity is our USP!! Ok then, one state is a society. Are you insane or what? In one state there are as many as 34 districts, 15 languages, 10 cultures, so talking about society, not at all please. Oh then one district is a society and we care about each other. Hello what are saying I don’t even know my district population so why do I belong to them? Ok one village is a society then. Are you crazy or what? there are riches and poor there, other religion, other cast, many land , no land , labourers, rulers, I amy even kill other in the name of honour, so please don’t call us a society, how can you even think of them as a society. Ok my colony is a society, fine. Oh please I don’t care when somebody die in my neighbourhood or in remote house of my colony. I am jealous of my neighbour; he just bought a brand new car or LED tv better than mine. My colony is not my society. 
•  Oh guys now you all will make me insane. Ok final!! My family is my society and I am very much social in my family. Aaaannhh…..what …..mmmmmm…I don’t know but I have issues with family members too  (choose your own), more if they are not offering me my things of interest or if they are not with me in good or bad deeds of if they do not belongs to my circle of interest.
•   I surrender, then where is that our favourite, choosy, fancy society?? It’s nowhere yes, since we are not social, there was no society and there is no society. Humans are just fooling themselves or living in a virtual world where society exists. I think they create this term to justify their living in groups, under fear so that humans just don’t take over each other’s lives. Ya, but they find the right to violate the next society rights.

Humans have suffered a lot and still suffering just by living in their circles of interest. So please break this society norm and go beyond it in search of the human truth, in search of selfishness beneath us hiding safely inside self-ego, the needy and greedy behaviour of us, never ending desires, never ending chaos.

It will be there in this world unless we go beyond circle of interest and think whole world as important as we are because we are the world, the chaos outside is just the reflection of chaos within. Calm yourself first then world be in peace, don’t just think of only circle of interest, think that if we are truly a human being then Earth will be our only society beyond al cultural, religious and political differences.
